Summary: This hotel is not 4 star. It's a 2 or 3 at best. The decor is shabby and old fashioned and it needs an upgrade. The cleanliness is average. It could be a lovely hotel with some upgrades to decor. The pool was nice but needed a good clean. Breakfast was basic. The room was shabby but the air con worked well. There were lamps but no plugs and the lights worked intermittently. The water in the room was low pressure and sometimes the shower was cold. The bed was comfy though. The staff were not particularly friendly but a couple were nice especially the night reception gent. The location is fab though, right in the centre of the town so very easy access to the town. We had a car and there is no parking and needed to walk around 10 - 15 minutes per day back to hotel, which wasn't a major issue but would be more difficult with kids / mobility issues. It's a very good base for Lefkada and we spent most days travelling around the island which is one of the best places we have ever been. The island is truly stunning. We won't be back to the hotel unless the price was significantly cheaper.
