Positive: Cute wooden cabins with chairs on veranda surrounded by the noises of the rainforest. Very quiet at night, although conveniently on 'main' road so access to restaurants, cafes, 7 eleven and pharmacy close by. Good mix of guests from young to old and lots of families. Comfy bed, shower ok, fan provided, we used it more than air con, Nice pool, used it a lot, plus a bar serving food if you want. Breakfast alright, bread made fresh on the premises. All staff were unfailingly polite, friendly and helpful, bar staff make a good drink! Cleaning staff very thorough, laundry very quick. Board game night and music quiz night while we were there. Water dispensers provided. Short walk to beach at end of Long beach, rest of it accessible at lower tides, or walk along road and drop down. Friendly 3 legged dog, Daisy. Wish we'd stayed longer.

Negative: Lack of sensibly placed electric points, with adapters covering switches in some cases. Light over bed too dim to read by, but no headboard meant it was uncomfortable to sit and read in bed anyway. Strange floor in ( huge) shower room, not entirely nice to walm on, poorly positioned basin. From the road, very steep gravelly paths, though someone was hard at work creating steps as we left.
