The main house consists of an open-plan living room/kitchen, with full-sized fridge, full oven with hobs, and dining table and chairs also there is a shower bathroom on this level. A stair leads from this living room/kitchen to the lower double bedroom with ensuite shower bathroom, and another staircase to the loft twin bedroom. The house has one air-condition and the master double bedroom has a French window leading onto a terrace.

Romanos House occupies a quiet position in the hamlet of Romanatika, between Fontana and the coastal village of Loggos. Loggos can be reached on foot by a pleasant 35 minute stroll along footpaths through the olive groves – slightly harder on the return, as it is uphill – while Fontana is walkable in 10 minutes or so. Loggos has a variety of tavernas, cafes and mini-markets as well as its own bakery, while Fontana has now added a snack bar and a small grocery shop to its long-standing taverna Dolos (a favourite with Italian visitors in August). In the last year, a small taverna has also opened in Zernatika itself.
Romanos House location means we recommend a car for your stay but it is quite possible to have a very relaxing time without one. The nearest beach is around twenty minutes away on foot and, apart from that, the house is on the local bus route, with the bus coming past two to three times a day in each direction. Should you need transport back to the house at other times, a local taxi will bring you back from Loggos or Gaios for a few euros.
