I lived in BKK and spend several years searching for the perfect west facing beachfront in a quiet part of a bigger island...spectacular sunset views were a must. I wanted to build a beachfront sanctuary amidst the coconut palms, with a strong focus on sustainability and wellbeing, and be sure no one could ruin the surrounds. I wanted to run fitness retreats so stressed out execs could get aways. I then found some friends with similar vision and together we worked with our thai partners to build just a few very high end luxury villas on, one of the two year round, unspoilt swimming beaches on Ko Samui. They can be rented individually or together, for weddings, retreats and offsite.
We are sailors and loved the idea we could anchor outside the properties half of the year, swim year round, have the ocean as our playground, with SUP's and Kayaks, yet have plenty of land in which to roam. Over the years we sought to buy the land behind our houses to limit development and now have a 3 acre green playground with world class 4000sq foot gym, training grounds, and large vegetable garden for our guests to enjoy, free range eggs, mushroom huts and more delights.
Baan Kilee and Baan Orachon are direct beachfront, many rooms with outdoor tubs and plenty of spots to wine and dine under the starts....a movie room for 30, formal dining for 30, family suites, kids playground, and almost everyone has a sea view. A swim up bar, outdoor movies, and all the toys you can imagine. We aimed to ensure that kids and adults will never be bored and can enjoy time together and apart, with a team of staff to look after all needs, and of course a great Chef....
