Summary: When we pulled up at the Selini Suites we thought we had made a bit of a mistake. The surrounding area was sparse with not a great deal going on. We were relieved that we had booked to stay half board because there are no restaurants within walking distance. That said, you can easily hop on a bus to Chania and be there within 40mins.The moment we walked into the hotel our impression changed- never judge a book by its cover! The hotel staff were excellent and incredibly helpful. They sorted out a hire car and a boat trip to Balos for us. The hotel room was impeccable, and the pool area was immaculate. The food was good, but it could have done with more variety from night to night- especially if you are staying half board. In all we had a fantastic time, and the hotel was brilliant.
