Positive: A group of seven of us had a wonderful stay at Villa Elpida. It's really well equipped with everything you need and is exactly as it looks in the photos. The kitchen had more than enough cooking equipment so we were easily able to cater for all of us. The barbecue area was great and there's a fridge down there too which was really helpful when barbecuing. The rooms were spacious and nice and cool with the air-conditioning. Had a few very minor things which needed attention and the hosts were super quick to respond and sort things out. There's a small supermarket just at the end of the road and two bigger ones about a five minute walk away. The nearest beach isn't the prettiest, but there's a much bigger one a 25 minute walk away. Enough nice places to eat and drink and a nearby bus stop to get into Heraklion. The villa is a lovely quiet oasis and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Negative: There were only six sunbeds which wasn't enough. There were no wine glasses - would suggest adding some. (We borrowed some from a friendly local barman)! And as there's no air-conditioning downstairs, it would be worth leaving the electric fan instead of having to request it. All minor things which didn't affect our stay!
