Beautifully restored stone house on the outskirts of the attractive rural town, Polichnitos. In addition to our house, we also have our own olive grove and private beach, which guests are free to use. Lesvos is a tranquil island, unspoilt by mass tourism, with hospitable locals and a surprising variety of experiences to enjoy - pinewood forests, sandy beaches, mountains, olive groves, archaeological sites, vibrant towns and hot springs. With at least 10 hours of sunshine daily, Lesvos is also one of the sunniest places in Europe.
Polichnitos is in the West of the island, with the Gulf of Kalloni 4km to the North and Vatera (with a sandy beach 10km long) 8km to the South. The thermal springs on the outskirts of the town have the hottest mineral waters in Europe (60 to 90 degrees centigrade).
In the Spring and Autumn migrating birds stop over on Lesvos and the island is known for being one of the best birdwatching locations in Europe.
The house itself is a traditional stone construction and has a walled garden with a pergola. Completely renovated in 2015, it has 2 bedrooms with double beds, a sitting room with a sofa bed, and a modern kitchen equipped with electric cooker and washing machine.
