4 Bedroom Villa in Protaras

If sea views and location are top of your priorites for your perfect holiday, then look no further than this luxury villa. Situated in a quiet development, this front line villa has views to die for and offers you the chance to completely unwind and relax.
You will find it very hard to leave this property because the outside of the villa offers so much you will not need to go anywhere else. The large patio area at the back has stunning uninterrupted views of the Mediterranean and is the ideal place to eat al fresco. A gentle cool breeze blowing in off the sea gives respite from the Cypriot sun and the only sounds to be heard are the soft lapping of the water in the uniquely shaped swimming pool and the sway of the surrounding tropical trees and plants. Take delight in watching the boats sail by, bringing you a new and interesting dimension to your holiday. Just watching them move gently through the water gives you such a relaxing feeling you will find it hard to tear yourself away unless of course it is to the completely private crystal clear swimming pool.
If you do have to tear yourself away the inside of the villa has all the amenities you would expect to find in such a luxury property. A lounge and dining area lead to separate kitchen and utility areas which, among other applicances, have a washing machine, a large American style fridge freezer and dish washer. You may like to relax in the lounge on the leather sofa, but you will not be able to escape the outside and those magnificent views. Three sets of patio doors let the outside and floods of light, in.
Upstairs there are four double bedrooms and a family bathroom . One of the bedrooms enjoys its own ensuite and 2 of them have patio doors leading onto a shared balcony which stretches the full width of the villa. And no, you cannot get away from the views as they seem even more spectacular from upstairs and they really come into their own when the sun goes down and the boats light up, it really is a sight to behold, enjoy and envelope yourself in.

Summary: As a family we holiday in Cyprus a lot - over 30 times in the 33 years since our first visit to the island. Over the past 10 years, as the family has grown we have changed from staying in apartments/hotels, to renting private villas. We have rented many nice villas but there has always been issues of one type or another, either something quite significant or a long list of small niggly issues. We don’t look for problems and fully understand the more ‘laid-back’ approach to life in Cyprus, however, when you’re paying the kind of prices we pay, you don’t expect some of the irritating issues we’ve experienced in the past. So it came as a very pleasant surprise to find absolutely nothing wrong with this villa – not even a light bulb that didn’t work. As we holiday late in August we are usually fobbed of with the excuse ‘it’s late in the season’ and so we should expect the need for various maintenance work to be carried out – but not in this case! The villa is spacious, clean and has everything you need to enjoy your holiday. It overlooks the east coast meaning you get tremendous sunrises, and the sea is a 30 second stroll away from the rear entrance of the villa. The photos you find on the HomeAway website are accurate to what you find when you’re there. I have found that often photos appear to exaggerate the size, space, cleanliness or location of a property. So why ‘almost perfect’? The location is beautiful, but you do need a car as it’s not a quick walk into the closes town of Protaras. At around midnight the neighbours sprinkler system come on for around an hour it was quite noisy. This meant we had to close the sliding bedroom doors which leads out to a large balcony area, rather then sleep with it open as we prefer. There's an old hotel virtually opposite the front of the villa which is either being totally renovated or demolished, and as the builders start work early, even with all the windows closed the noise was too much to sleep through so we were woken up early every morning – despite being in a bedroom facing the sea on the opposite side of the villa from the hotel. The location won’t change and in many ways you wouldn’t want it to, but the work on the hotel will be completed and so that irritant won’t be around for long anyway….and hopefully the timing of the neighbours sprinkler system can be altered. Overall it’s a beautiful villa and we had a wonderful holiday. Once the work on the hotel is finished we'd definitely book it again.
