Positive: We stayed at Strovilla Gaia as a group of four and rented the entire three-story villa. We had an amazing experience and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better stay in Halkidiki. One of the things that impressed us the most was the level of service. Housekeeping came every day to clean the villa and provide fresh towels, which was a wonderful touch and not something you normally expect when renting a private villa. The private pool was also cleaned every day with a robotic cleaner, and they regularly took water samples to check the hygiene and water quality. Everything felt very clean and extremely well maintained. The villa itself had everything we could possibly need. The kitchen was fully equipped, so you can easily prepare your own meals if you prefer. In the mornings, our host Sofia would bring us different kinds of fresh börek/pastries, as well as fresh milk, yogurt and other local products, which made our mornings even better. We chose to eat out in the evenings, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby, as well as supermarkets and everything else you might need. The sea is literally right in front of the property and the water was very clean. Unfortunately, the weather was a little unsettled during our stay and we noticed some brown jellyfish in the sea. This seemed to be related to the weather and natural sea conditions, so we definitely wouldn’t consider it a negative point about the property. Most importantly, Sofia was incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. She was always available whenever we needed anything and really made us feel at home. Between the beautiful three-story villa, private pool, daily housekeeping, fresh towels, pool maintenance, breakfast treats and the sea right in front of the house, the whole experience felt much more like staying at a private boutique hotel than simply renting a villa. We had a fantastic stay and would absolutely recommend Strovilla Gaia. We would happily come back again!
