Summary: Some 5 minutes drive from the historical park, this place is in a scenic location in the middle of nowhere. The wooden bungalows are basic but clean and pretty well equipped, including air conditioning, (Thai only) TV, and decent internet connectivity.
The owners speak very little english, but they are lovely! Drinking water and a nice breakfast are included for free, even if that wasn't mentioned when I booked, so it came as a pleasant surprise.
Overall, highly recommended if you want to stay a little away from the bustle.

Summary: We spent six nights in three different cabins and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The owners are so caring. They delivered breakfast to our porch every morning, drove us to the bus station and even packed us a little snack for the bus! We practiced tennis and golf with them and were shown their earthworm composting set up and biogas system. I can't say enough about how thoughtful and friendly they are.
We were given free bikes to use and it only takes about 10 minutes to bike into town. We cycled a few minutes west of their property and saw really nice sunsets over the hills. I highly recommend checking out a sunset here (just turn left from their property).
The breakfasts were plentiful and changed a bit every day. She even brought us a snack when we changed cabins for the third time (such a sweet lady).
The cabins were small but the beds were very big. I loved hearing the sounds of the animals at night, especially from our porch. We liked the cabin near the back of the property best because it was the most private. We also liked the one closest to the field because it had a nice view, but the porch was in sun most of the day.
I highly recommend this place to anyone who doesn't mind biking into town and is looking for a rustic, quiet place to stay.

Summary: Very friendly, attentive, caring host. Beautiful houses situated in an organic garden next to a little lake with a view over a rice field. very beautiful. the family grows their own organic fruits. you can ask for a breakfast and can enjoy the delicious fruits. Altogether very romantic and a must for people who want to relax, and come back to nature and a simple life. Nevertheless you don't have to miss comfort: hot shower, French toilet, air conditioning, fridge and Thai television. I would love to go there with my family again. To the historical park its approx. 5 min by car/motorbike in a very quite countryside surrounding.

Summary: Sukhothai City Resort was definitely the highlight of our month in Thailand. Just a 25 minute walk from the old city, it felt as though we were in a jungle retreat. The setting is incredible and the wildlife sounds are beyond description. Sitting on the deck at night is the most wonderful experience imaginable. So much work has gone in to making this the perfect rural retreat. By far our favourite thing about our stay was the wonderful warm welcome we received and the amazing hospitality we were shown at all times. We loved our morning jokes about Spider-Man and our singing of the wedding march (you had to be there).
We were genuinely sorry to leave, and hope that we will return in the future.
Much love and thanks to all involved.
We miss you so much xxxx

Summary: The hotel has an amazing view on rice fields, the inside is adorable and immaculate.
The resort offers bike rentals which make you reach the old town in no time, the hosts also propose to take you to the city at night and bring you back to the bus station for further connections.
The hosts are very welcoming and it was a delight to stay in Sukhothai in their company, definitely would recommend this for a more original stay !

Summary: Owners offered to pick me up from the bus station if I needed a ride. They have bikes for rent onsite. The room had a king-size bed and everything was immaculate. It was a standalone villa and very charming. I loved it!!!
It's a 10 minute bike ride north of Sukhothai park and about a 30 minute walk if you choose. The owners are very hospitable. I'll definitely stay there again!
