Summary: Overall, most of our stay was good value for money, and the majority of the staff were excellent, friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, the experience around the pool really let the stay down. The sunbed reservation system seems very flawed and was handled poorly by the pool staff. We were asked to move from beds that we had specifically been told to reserve because someone else had arrived there first. We were then directed to different beds, only to later be told we couldn’t stay there because those had been reserved by someone else. It was incredibly frustrating and felt very disorganised. The staff handling the situation didn’t seem to understand or consistently apply their own reservation system, which made the whole experience unnecessarily stressful. On a much more positive note, Fishbone Restaurant was exceptional. The food was fantastic, and the restaurant itself was incredibly well run. The service, organisation and overall dining experience were a real highlight of our stay and deserve special recognition.
