Just outside is a large terrace featuring a spacious swimming pool and a fully equipped barbecue.
On the lower level, separate living quarters—featuring a large bedroom, living room, kitchen, bathroom, and a small office with two workstations—offer a quieter alternative away from the noise of the pool, perfect for a summer siesta, enjoying the view, or even working.
On both levels, you’ll find several shaded areas and nooks ready to offer a cool and relaxing retreat at any time of the day or night. The location, construction, and design of the house itself guarantee a perfect microclimate that strikes an ideal balance between the Cretan sun above, the green hills all around, and the blue sea below. Even on the hottest summer days, you’ll find shady spots to enjoy the view and the cooling breeze.
The village of Stalos, with its few but impressively high-quality restaurants, is the closest option. Further downhill, 4 km from the house, you’ll reach the sandy beach of Stalos, and to its left and right lies the entire famous coastline of Chania Bay, featuring world-class beaches and numerous activities, restaurants, cafes, and beach bars to suit every taste.

Swimming pool safety rules

• The use of the pool by people who have consumed food, alcoholic beverages, or drugs is prohibited
• Children must always be supervised by an adult while swimming, and that adult must be sober.
• Use of the pool is prohibited for people who cannot swim
• If a child is not a strong swimmer, they should remain in the recommended safe depths of the pool under adult supervision while wearing a personal flotation device.
• Children should always swim under supervision, never alone.
• Before entering, always check the depth and layout of the pool.
• The pool’s operating hours are from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
• When swimming at night, there must be sufficient lighting in and around the pool.
• Inflatable flotation devices such as personal flotation devices and rafts should not be used as a substitute for constant adult supervision.
• Parents should not allow children to use other types of toys, such as “mermaid tails” or “fins,” in the pool, as these toys can make swimming difficult and lead to drowning.
• Toys should be removed from the pool when children have finished playing so that they do not attempt to retrieve them without adult supervision
• Children should not dive in, push, or chase each other around the pool.
• In case of bad weather, especially if there is lightning, anyone in the pool should get out.
• Seconds count in a water emergency, so keep your cell phone with you when supervising children while they swim
